Malaga Airport driving directions
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is located just seven kilometers from the city of Málaga and is connected by road via the MA-21, also known as the old N-340, and the Málaga West Ring Road (a section of the Mediterranean Motorway A-7 / E-15).
Access to the passenger drop-off and pick-up area is via the Parking Express (also called Preferred Departures Parking), where the first 10 minutes of parking are free. After this grace period, charges will apply from the moment of entry to the parking lot.
How to get to the Terminal
To reach the airport by road, follow these directions to connect to the access roads MA-21 or MA-20, which are the main routes leading to the airport.
From the North and Northeast of the airport:
If coming from Málaga or the northern Costa del Sol (A-7, AP-46, A-45, N-340), connect to the MA-20 in Málaga city heading towards Torremolinos. From there, you have two options:
- Option 1: Take exit 5A from the MA-20 towards MA-21 (old N-340) and continue to the airport, taking exit 3.
- Option 2: Continue on MA-20 and take exit 3 to connect with MA-23, which will lead you directly to the airport.
From the West of the airport:
If coming from A-357 or A-7054, connect to the MA-20 in Málaga city heading towards Torremolinos, then take exit 5A towards MA-21 and continue to the airport via exit 3.
From the South of the airport (Costa del Sol South):
If coming from the A-7/E-15 motorway towards Málaga, continue on MA-20 and take exit 3 towards Málaga Airport.
